HST must be charged as of May 1st, 2010 on all goods/services consumed after July 1st, 2010. As a result of the conference taking place in British Columbia, the HST charge will be 12%.

For registered conference delegates, we are pleased to offer a 10% discount on direct flights to Vancouver. A special AIR CANADA promotion code (which must be used when booking your airline ticket) will be emailed with your conference registration confirmation.

Cancellations and No-Shows

A written notice is required indicating your intent to cancel. Substitutions are accepted up to the day of the conference. Cancellations are subject to a processing fee of 20% of your conference registration fee. No refunds will be issued on cancellations received after September 18, 2010, or for conference ‘no shows’. Accommodations

The Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel has been designated the official host hotel for the Western Canadian Hotel & Resort Investment Conference. To take advantage of the special conference rates, you must book your hotel reservation before SEPTEMBER 17, 2010. After SEPTEMBER 17, 2010 the official room block will be released and the hotel may charge significantly higher rates.

2010 Conference Room Rate: Deluxe Inner Harbour - $165.00 CDN (plus taxes)

Deluxe Inner Harbour View rooms boast 350 square feet of luxury, featuring either one pillow top king size or two double beds. Enjoy stunning views of historic Gastown, colourful city lights in the evening and morning sunrise over the North Shore Mountains. Enjoy a working desk, Italian Marble bathroom, chez lounge or a small sitting area. These rooms include high-speed internet data port, in-room safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, iron and ironing board, CD player and radio clock, coffee maker, mini bar, two-line cordless speaker phone and individually controlled air conditioning unit.

• Upgrade to Deluxe Harbourview rooms for an additional $20.00 per room, per night, based on availability at time of booking.

Directions to Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel:

The Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel is located just 12 miles or a 25-minute drive from the Vancouver International Airport. The cost of a taxi is approximately $35.00 (Cdn) from the airport to the hotel. The Canada Line Skytrain is now available from YVR’s terminal to Waterfront station which is located just steps from our front door at a cost of $6.25 per trip.

Directions from Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel to Vancouver Convention Centre - WEST Building:

The Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel is only a two minute walk from the Vancouver Convention Centre - WEST Building.

Underground Tunnel: From the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, take the underground tunnel, followed by a set of escalators, go UP to the Main Level, from there, take an elevator to LEVEL 1. 

Outside Access: Exit the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, make a right-hand turn to the WEST Building of Vancouver Convention Centre entrance and take the elevator to LEVEL 1.
